I’m Kyle Cline, National Policy Advisor with Indiana Farm Bureau and I am excited to serve as your Hoosier on the Hill host.
I’m a farm kid from Tipton County, Indiana (now residing in Howard County) with a passion for public policy, government and making the world a better place for future generations. I believe in the American farmer and appreciate the contributions they make towards our way of life. Their sense of pride, work ethic and focus on family are what I consider the “Hoosier way”.
When I’m not working the Hill on behalf of farmers, I enjoy road trips with my wife and two children, trying new foods and watching/playing basketball (hey, I’m a Hoosier after all!).
I look forward to guiding you on this virtual journey to Washington, D.C., where we will examine national issues that impact the lives of Hoosier farmers and the agricultural sector as a whole. In addition to keeping you informed and kept up to date on the key federal issues of the day, I will also present the issues and activities beyond the headlines and spotlight stories that receive little media play. Of course, we will have fun along the way and include some human interest stories, interesting D.C. history and just about anything else that has a connection to agriculture, food, or rural communities from a national perspective.
I welcome your suggestions and input as well. Feel free to contact me with your ideas concerning my blog.
Thank you for reading!
